Last week Lorie and Audrey and I had a lovely picnic with Lisa and Tracy and Lisa's nephew Jack (pictured). We spread out two large blankets in a small, clean park in Culver City and lounged around eating delicious vegan food that Lisa had made (yum!) and playing with Jack and Audrey. It hadn't really rained in LA for over 365 days, but it tried to rain that day of course! No problem. It only rained lightly for a few minutes and we were under a big lush tree so we didn't really get wet. Besides, Lorie and I love cloudy skies and ominous winds.
