Yes, we know we are remiss in current postings, especially of pix/video of The Shmoo. But, here's a link to video from THIS EVENING. :)

I'm so pent up, I could bounce off the walls. I get these surges of anxiety and restlessness. Big surge this afternoon. Agh. Ken has Audrey for the afternoon - Beka, his employer, has asked employees to volunteer clocking in fewer hours during the summer, because of the economy. Ken comes home early on Thursdays, and saves us the money I was spending on the babysitter to do things like WORK and, just as often, home management stuff. So, now that he's gone for a couple hours, I feel this tremendous anxiety to be OPTIMALLY productive while they're gone. So much so, it almost stymies me. Ack.

Done so far:

Filled out some necessary paperwork that's been sitting on the pile.
Did a lot of emails to set up stuff down in Austin for my business trip there next week.
Some paper sorting and filing.

Still to do:
Romancing the bills - a checkbook/bank account love story.
FINISH a business plan I've been working on for months.
Upload some photos to the blog.
And MULTIPLE MULTIPLE other To Dos that have been put off repeatedly.

Doesn't that all just sound so small? Like, I have such a stressful life. Geez.

Okay, I'm chillin' out.

Tidbits

Never mentioned here that I got the big-o rejection letter from that Sundance Institute fellowship I applied for. Oh well. I put it out there. Guess the Universe is telling me that I don't need it. :)

Latest Audrey-isms:

• I fall down in the back yard. I scrape my knee. I'm okay! 'You okay? I'm okay.

• I got a Band Ape.

• Where's Daddy...? Where's Ari...? Marie, Terri, Noah...? Where's Joyce (our neighbor)...? Where's Grandma Susie? Where's Grandpa Dave and Grandma Jackie? And, REPEAT 11,000 times per day.

• Why?

• Not.

And finally, Ken and I have decided that 2010 will be the year for us to move into our own home. A return episode of Upstairs-Cathy-Claims-Ken-Is-A-Cold-Hearted-Animal-Hater -And-Liar, to boot! has occurred just recently. This time, we've been accused of putting rat poison in the shared basement. Wasn't us. Landlord denied it (he's either spaced it out, or lying to Long-Term-Renter Cathy at our expense). It's a source of low-grade stress that neither of us wants to continue to deal with for the long term...

But, other than that, just planted tomatoes this weekend!
