Well, we've decided to stay put until after the baby arrives and for at least a few months beyond.
Once I sat with the decision to move for a couple days, it occurred to me that it was feeling rushed and therefore, forced, to identify, secure, and actually move into a new place within the next 8 weeks. Plus, Ken doesn't have a new job, yet -- and, though we both like the Culver City/Palms area, what if he might get a job offer that really enthuses him, and its location is in the Valley somewhere...?
Ultimately, so much has been and is up in the air in our lives that changing our domicile, to boot, seemed a little like asking for more uncertainty and angst. We talked about it again last night, and Ken came to the same conclusions. So, we'll just keep up with our white noise efforts (fans, radio, and the sound machine) as needs be, vis a vis Next Door Loudmouth, and make this nest work for a while longer. :)
On another topic, Ken took some photos of my pregnant self at 28 weeks and will take a couple more next weekend, at 32 weeks. I'm curious to see if I might look that different between both sets...? People tell me I'm "carrying high." He'll post photos when he gets a chance.

Good call. Moving is such a pain in the ass. Better, I believe, to get accustomed to life with baby in familiar surroundings before adding the moving stress. Then you can take more time with it rather than rushing to secure a place. Besides, you won't need another bedroom for a while. You'll want Audrey in the same room with you for the first few months anyway.
Love,
Greg
