Gave Audrey her first full-immersion bath yesterday, with help from Grandma Jackie. Discovered to my chagrin that our bathtub drain does not stop up, so bath-pillow-thingie I bought in lieu of baby bathtub is thus rendered useless. Bathed Audrey instead in white tub thingie that Ken bought for washing baby bottles, breast pump parts, etc. Didn't fit all of her body, but most of it.
Crying ensued. Soap was not employed. She looked adorable, though, in her duckie hooded towel post-immersion. Grandma Jackie took pix - but, we haven't figured out how to get images off their camera onto our computers, yet. Soon, soon...
In other news - quite alarming and unexpected - my stepfather, Tim, went to the hospital last night with extreme abdominal pain. He's currently in the ICU with a perforated colon. Complications continue to present themselves today, which are preventing doctors from operating pronto. Please send your prayers to him and my mom, Sue.
Thanks.

hey, just use a jar lid, it will work fine as a stopper...or a piece of plastic.
I'll keep your stepfather in my prayers, sorry to hear he's going through this...
