Our upstairs neighbor, Cathy, made this beautiful Easter basket for Audrey. Isn't it awesome? I had some stuff, myself, to make her one; but, since she had been barfy for two days beforehand, I didn't get to mine. Cathy rocked out with this basket!

Here's a photo of us at the Round Barn Farm Bed & Breakfast, where we ate, jacuzzi'd, and happily and soundly slept our way through our 12th wedding anniversary. :)

Playtime in puddles

Still trying to juggle too many things. Big news, I know. Ken's still giddy about his job, and I'm still besotted with our daughter. Our big news of the day is that our friends, Jeri and Charles, will be taking Audrey for the weekend April 4 and 5 so Ken and I can have 24 hours alone to celebrate our 12th anniversary. Yay!

It's been warming up here in the Great North. Yesterday, I think it reached the mid-40s...? So, it was time to spend some play time outdoors at a local park.






I wish Ken's head wasn't cut off, but at least you're not seeing the innards of all our noses from this low-angle, take-it-at-arm's-length shot.






On the way home, there were just too many puddles and streams of water to pass up. Here, Audrey learns about gutters and water that is flowing downstream. She had a blast. And very cold toes when we got home.
