First Snow!

Today was blustery, chilly, overcast, and at about 2pm we got light snow flurries for a half hour! I even caught a snowflake on my tongue. Wasn't trying to. I just had my usual stuffy nose mouth breathing slack jaw and a snowflake just blew right in.

The change in weather today made me happy.

We were out doing an errand at the time and I realized that going out with Audrey is only going to be more of a hassle as the weather gets harsher. Colder weather just means more stuff that we're going to have to remember to bring for her and for us. It already takes us forever to get out of the house and we STILL manage to forget something every time we go. That's only going to get worse as we have to add hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, sweaters, boots, serious coats, long johns, extra blankets, earmuffs, shovels, ice picks, .... ugh.

I think in our new house we're going to have to setup a big "staging area" table next to the front door.
